The New Orleans Pelicans boast a storied over 30-year history that began in 1988 when they joined the NBA as an expansion team. Since then, the Pelicans have built a passionate fan base supporting their team through highs and lows. An unforgettable milestone was their first playoff appearance in 2008 led by legend Chris Paul. Spearheaded by "CP3" and David West, the then New Orleans Hornets stormed into the postseason, electrifying the "Crescent City" with their high-energy style. Unforgettable was Paul's steal and game-winner against the San Antonio Spurs. 2015 marked the next pinnacle as the franchise, after relocating from Charlotte to New Orleans, rebranded as the Pelicans. Led by Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson, they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in an epic series. Williamson defined that season with his powerful dunks.
